A third-generation makeup artist, Artmont continues a legacy that began in 1941 with her grandfather, Nick Marcellino, a two-time Primetime Emmy® nominee. Her father, Steve Artmont, was also a three-time Emmy® nominee and served as her greatest inspiration. Before his passing in 2017, father and daughter shared the profound honor of working together on multiple projects, including the first season of Big Little Lies, earning a joint Emmy® nomination for Outstanding Makeup for a Limited Series or Movie.
Artmont began her career in New York City, assisting iconic makeup artist Vincent Longo. She spent nearly a decade honing her skills under his mentorship, both in his studio and backstage during NYFW. Her fashion week and editorial experience also includes collaborations with Charlotte Tilbury, Diane Kendall, and Gucci Westman—an early foundation that continues to shape her aesthetic today.
As a member of IATSE Local 706, Artmont currently serves as the union’s Craft Education Secretary, supporting over 1,300 members. In this leadership role, she curates educational initiatives, fosters peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, and keeps artists informed on evolving beauty trends and industry innovation.
